QUOTE FROM DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT - Katie Hides
The contexts from which we live our lives are crucial. They drive our opinions, our choices, our experiences, what we see and what we don't notice.
When contexts are hidden we operate from them automatically. When they become apparent we are able to make a choice about who we are and what is important to us.
Water Under the Bridge is the story of a transformational shift in context for Julian a successful engineer. Building his career comes before everything in his life and as a result he is disconnected from people, unhapy and alone.
He is unable to experiences his mothers love for him and the heart ache she felt from their estrangement, until he meets Gemma and experiences her enduring love for her dead child.
When he finally connects with Gemma's world Julian realises the impact of his career building obsession on his and his mother's lives. He is devastated. Like switching on a light in a dark room Julian sees what he has never been able to see before. This insight changes him forever.

If actors want to wear fabrics we can see fabric in shot as well.
Roger, might be good to get those boards painted in the new colours and placed in shot.
Karma, Im happy for you to bring material along, particularly strong poppy colours you might want to use.
Cheers,
